It is the most visual project where the ingredients, through their own materiality, allow the creation of a visually impactful artwork.
In my native Xalapa, all kinds of miniature gardens flourish in every crevice of the humid city. "Queremos Pastel" emerges as the creation of an edible sculpture in the form of a garden. The idea is to envision a stroll along its paths, being the size of a grape.
Each cake is unique and conveys sensory concepts and abstractions. The ingredients are curated according to the expression of the discourse at hand. "Queremos Pastel" is an ongoing project that allows for exploration and mobility.
